SMS has become a very popular throughout the globe. SMS is a short message service is a service that is overtaking the use of a conventional phone call. SMS is also known as text messaging. When cell phones initially came out, SMS was very limited. There were restrictions on the amount of characters you used and cell phone providers frequently charged based on the amount of characters sent. Nowadays, we are fortunate to have advanced technology. Cellular phones have really come a long way and its not unusual for someone to type one long SMS message, to the point where you're able to say everything you need to say and not be cut off in the middle of your thought by text character restrictions.
Just to illustrate, how far SMS has come along, since it was originally introduced, let's examine a new program in India called Way 2 SMS. This program, based in India, really shows how mobile SMS has really expanded in its horizons. There are many SMS programs in India now, just like way 2 SMS, that allow users to send free SMS online or through cellular phones. As long as the user has an mobile number in India, they are able to use the services free. There are certain restrictions to the program, but considering that it is free, it provides a great service.
Many other countries offer online SMS, but not many offer free mobile to mobile SMS. Mobile to mobile SMS usually has to be purchased as part of a monthly plan, or it can be purchased as you go. It's interesting to see how a program like Way 2 SMS in India really opens up the doors for free communication. New technology is constantly bringing the global community closer together. If you reside in India you have the opportunity to take advantage of way 2 SMS, so it's definitely a great idea to take a look at the program, it will definitely peak your interest.

Along This Way $3.95 Here is, to quote the eminent historian Nathan Irvin Huggins, "one of the finest American autobiographies written in this century." Born in 1871 in Jacksonville, Florida, James Weldon Johnson began his career as a high-school principal. He went on to attain success as a songwriter on Broadway and as the compiler of the definitive "Book of American Negro Spirituals," But he achieved one of his greatest triumphs in 1912, when, under a pseudonym, he published "The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man"--a classic novel about a musician who rejects his black roots, a novel that is still in print today in multiple paperback editions. Johnson went on to be, from 1920 to 1930, the first African-American head of the NAACP, fighting tirelessly for the passage of a federal anti-lynching law. His life story is that of a truly remarkable man who triumphed over a system of institutionalized racism to become one of black America's leading educators, men of letters, and reformers. |

Along the Way (Hardcover) $35.57 In this remarkable dual memoir, film legend Martin Sheen and his accomplished actor/director son Emilio Estevez share the stories of their lives while charting a spiritual journey through the Spain of their ancestors. While much has been written over the years about this prominent entertainment family, neither Martin Sheen nor Emilio Estevez has told his story in book form before. In Along the Way, they break that silence together, offering a striking, often stirring, frequently funny story of two very different kinds of faith told from two viewpoints that are as different as they are eloquent.Spanning more than fifty years of family history, this chronicle of a creative father and son is partially set against the background of Hollywood. But the heart of the story lies along the Camino de Santiago the thousand-year-old pilgrimage path, also known as The Way, across northern Spain, from which Sheen s father emigrated to the U.S. and to which Estevez s own son has returned to live. There, Estevez directed his father in the filming of The Way, a major film to be released in October, 2011, and which has already garnered praise at the Toronto Film Festival. Along the Way celebrates the authors profound bond with each other, offers candid insight into their lives and careers, and explores the differing paths of spirituality they have taken through a multigenerational saga that has come full circle beneath the Iberian sun. What emerges is a raw, strikingly intimate portrait of two seekers whom readers will come to know as strong men of many important roles, perhaps the greatest of which are as fathers and sons. |

"Along the Way" also tells about their unusual experiences, theinteresting people they met, and some amazing places they visited.
