What Does It Do?
In order to make Furreal GoGo My Walkin Pup more life-like, Hasbro has embedded sensors in its head and on the sides of its body. The dog makes 18 different sounds and performs life like motions such as barking and wagging its tail. The dog is a lot bigger than it looks in pictures. Also quiet surprising is that it is not as soft as it looks. It's not something you would want your child to sleep with. Although the fur is very life-like when you pick it up it feels like a machine.
How Does It Work?
The pup is controlled by a remote control that is cleverly designed as a leash. In order to control the pup there is a remote control that has a separate button to go forward, left, and right. The pup does not move backward. Furreal Gogo My Walkin Pup moves quiet realistically. It can even tilt its head and respond to petting. If you're rough with it, it will actually growl. When it walks the legs move. However, the toy is actually moving on carefully hidden wheels beneath its fur. As a result, the toy is really only designed to work on smooth flat surfaces.
Do I need batteries?
You don't need to feed your furreal instead the pup is powered by 4 "C" batteries which are included in the package. You can turn the Furreal GoGo My Walkin Pup off when it is not in use to conserve the battery.
