Whatever caused you and your boyfriend to break up is absolutely no reason to sit around moping about the situation. Of course, you are feeling hurt and angry. Everyone does after a breakup, and guess what, most people either go on with their lives, or make an effort to get their exes back. First of all, you must not contact him at all. Although this will be very difficult for you to do right now, force yourself to avoid the temptation. Your ex will really be wondering why you have stopped contacting him all of a sudden, and will almost surely try to find out what you are doing with yourself. This is one step towards your attempt to get your boyfriend back - he is curious about your reactions.

Make a point of looking really fabulous when you go out with your friends. You ex will see you at some time or another, and begin to wonder whether leaving you was really the right thing to do. By this time, you will be looking terrific, and obviously enjoying your life without him. He will more than likely contact you at some stage to ask you out on a date, but don't rush into anything just yet. Be a little hesitant and make him ask you out a few times before you actually go out with him. Making him think that you are quite capable of enjoying your life without him is one sure way to get your boyfriend back, without a doubt.
