As an opening for this topic, I would like to share a short story here with all of you.

The story goes like this:

There're two men who is really good in fishing, and they always fishing near a huge pond. They can get around ten fishes in an hour. Sometimes there're some newbie reaching here wishing to learn fishing from this two great man. So they ask these two men whether they could teach them how to fish. Mr. A replies that he is busy fishing, no time to teach them. Mr. B different, he is willing to share with them how he manage to fish so well and gain so many fish. All Mr. B's students learn quickly, and in return, every ten fishes they gains; they'll give one fish to Mr. B, as a thanks and gratitude.

After quite sometimes, who do you think would have more fishes in the end? What about longer time?

This is a short story for us to think more, on what's the benefit on selfishness? At the end, you might eventually lost much more when you're trying hard to keep all you know, within you yourself.

Sharing is Caring.

By sharing and teaching people your knowledge, you actually learn the most, because you're retraining your skills and profession while teaching.

Here's another example, you brought a book worth 20 dollar, and you finish it and learn a lot of things from it. What happen next? The book was left useless at a side, and slowly disappears from your eyes. What if you share this book with your friends? You share with 3 people this great book, and they benefits from it. They learn, and your book also increasing its value, by providing value to more people. Three people including you, you are actually spending 20 dollar to gain 80 dollar worth of value, because four people benefits from the book. What if more?

One keep his knowledge within himself and another group of people all share their life experience to one another, from mistakes and wise advice on how to do better in life. The group of people that share will definitely grows much faster than the one that keeps his knowledge within himself and don't willing to share with people.

There's a quote, treat other on how you wish people to treat you. When you care about others, they'll eventually care about you too. Who knows, one day when you're in trouble, they're there supporting you.

Sharing let's you gain more in return, and in return you actually benefits more out of it.
