To begin with, we have to be honest that giving presents can be a sensitive issue. In the past people have frowned upon the individual that re-gifts, buys off of the registry, or simply gives cash. Because of this, the responsibility lies with the person receiving the present to define what is most appropriate for the occasion. With this in mind, the idea of Green Gifting can be a real success.

This new concept starts with the person receiving the gift, not the gift giver. If you are hosting a child's birthday party make sure everyone invited knows to practice Green Gifting. If you are an engaged couple, it can be used in place of a traditional registry. Extended family could all agree that Christmas this year will feature only Green Gifting.

Gently Does It $10.19 The last thing you need when you're on holiday is to become involved in a murder. For most people, that would easily qualify as the holiday from hell. For George Gently, it is a case of business as usual. The Chief Inspector's quiet Easter break in Norchester is rudely interrupted when a local timber merchant is found dead. His son, with whom he had been seen arguing, immediately becomes the prime suspect, although Gently is far from convinced of his guilt. Norchester City Police gratefully accept Gently's offer to help investigate the murder, but he soon clashes with Inspector Hansom, the officer in charge of the case.
