There are quite a few different types of Golf Figures. A Figurine is a small figure of a golf related person, animal, or thing. It is smaller than a Golf Statue, and can be made from a wide range of different materials including porcelain, wood, resin, and bronze.

The Golf Statue, which is usually of a person or an animal, is often in an outdoors setting, and can also be created with a variety of materials such as bronze casting, metal alloy or concrete.

A Golf Sculpture is a 3-dimensional shape which can be of anything at all related to the game of golf. It is not restricted to representations of living things or objects, but can be an abstraction or anything else the creator wants to portray.

The types of Golf Figures can be roughly categorized as follows:

1. Males

These figures could be figurines, statues or sculptures and are of men or boys in a golf playing position or in a golf setting. This is the most popular type of Golf Figure because males make up a majority of players in the world today.

2. Females

As for the Male Golf Figure, these figures are of women or girls in a golfing position or in a golf setting. They could be figurines, statues, or sculptures, and these figures are very popular too.

3. Fun and Novelty

There are many fun and novelty figures on the market which include ones created by the Walt Disney Company. There are fun figures like Spongebob Squarepants. The figures can be soft toys, small figures, and anything else that has a sense of fun or an unusual angle. A nut from a tree dressed up as a golfer is a good example.

4. Animals

Animal Figures are also popular and are usually of dogs, bears, and other animals made up in golfing gear with clubs or in a golf setting. These figures can be highly entertaining.

5. Celebrities

The most obvious Golf Celebrity Figure is Tiger Woods, who has many figurines available which range from around the ten dollar mark up into the hundreds of dollars. One of the best known of his figures is the 'fist pumping' figure which is a still life of Tiger Woods celebrating a good shot.

6. Bags

There is a small range of Golf Bag Figures available which include items such as key rings and desktop figurines.

7. Carts

Golf Cart Figures are made and range from NASCARs, and ordinary representations of golf carts, up to the valuable and collectible 'The Comic Art of Guillermo Forchino'. These latter figures are well known and very creative impressions of golf carts with their drivers.

9. Miscellaneous

The category of Golf Miscellaneous Figures includes all the odd ones such as lamps, book-ends, curtain weights, and ashtrays. There is a vast selection of these items on the market and the number of them is only limited by people's imaginations. Many of them are collectible.

10. Statues

Golf Statue Figures are generally made for placement in the gardens of people who like or play golf. Statues are normally at least one or two feet high. They are very collectible and are usually sit on a lawn. They can be made from many different materials such as bronze casting, and metal alloy.

11. Trophies

Golf Trophy Figures are the trophy awards that are given out to people after competing in competitions, or to recognize a particular contribution by a player or official. There is an enormous number of these for sale through sports shops, golf shops, and department stores.
