- Honestly: The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is in genuine demand today.
- Great Communication skills: Are all about saying what you mean and meaning what you say.
- Being a Team Player: Can you will you and have you been a great team player?
- Company Man: Are you always doing what is right for the company first?
- Professional Pride: Do you have a great reputation? Is your work better? Does it stand out?
- Sound Judgment: You use the Ben Franklin decision tree verses snap decisions.
- Take direction well: Following orders is critical to your success. Always know your job is a blessing. Your boss is a blessing. Maybe a disguised blessing but try living without him!
- Gratitude: You show real appreciation for your career opportunities and bosses.
- Intelligence: You make decisions born from a calm rational state of mind not fear or anger.
- Value: You have realistic salary expectations conforming to industry norms.
- Multitasking ability: You make order out of Chaos easier than most.
- Multiple Skills: You are hired as a technical writer, and can do public relations too.
Remember, this is a sales letter not just a hello it is nice to meet you greeting card. Your cover letter has so much impact on your career. Naturally, it should be customized to every employer to the fullest extent possible for greatest impact. Ask for the interview at the conclusion of your cover letter.
