Sometimes dates can be awkward. Conversations may seem forced and body language may seem uncomfortable. Awkward silent moments don't have to happen; there are always methods to keep the conversation going to get that second date. The key to your success is awareness.

1. Talk about something you know a lot about.

Chances are, she might have the same interests as you. Talk about your favorite television show, your favorite sports team, your favorite beverage, or anything that amuses you. If she's not willing to accept who you are and what you like, at least you'll still end up having a good time. Mostly you goal at this point is to make a connection on one topic or another.

2. Target her qualities.

Don't compliment her too much, but make it known that you do find certain attributes attractive or interesting. More importantly, focus on her personality. Too many exterior compliments can make it seem like you're more interested in satisfying yourself instead of her.

3. Create fantasies with her.
