Princess Diana's Engagement Ring

During the 1980, England experienced a historic love story between Lady Diana Spencer and The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles. The romance soon turned to a timeless unity of the century. The iconic duo got engaged in February of 1981. Initially, Prince Charles proposed to Lady Diana without a ring because he was not sure about the answer. It weighed 18 carats and was tagged at 28,000 British pounds.

The dramatic allure of Blue Sapphire ring, unexpectedly won all the attraction and made the event extra glamorous. The same ring was spotted on her beautiful finger many times after the fairy tale and momentous event. Princess Diana was always inclined towards sophisticated and simple accessories. Her engagement was deep velvety blue and it set a standard in fashion industry where non-diamond accessories were not that adored. The Royal couple celebrated their commitment in a different style and it reflected Princess Diana's extremely refined taste buds in terms of style and fashion.
