FarmVille collections are a great new component of Facebook FarmVille. FarmVille collections allow you to gain very important game bonuses, however FarmVille collections are not mandatory but recommended for success as they can lead to valuable bonuses. At this time there are currently five collections, with new collections added all the time.Simply click on the blue 'Ribbons' icon in your game menu expanding it to display both the usual Ribbons icon as well as one featuring the label 'Collections'. The available FV collections at this time are the gardening tools, country kitchens, bugs, butterfly and the feather collections All of the collections have only six items, but you need at least one item of each collection to trade for a bonus. Collectables can be broken down into 3 categories, these are the common, uncommon and rare. The hardest to find, obviously, will be the rare items and the easiest the common items of the collections.

FarmVille Collectables:

1. Gardening Tools FarmVille Collection Items

Common: Gloves, Trowel, Cultivator

Uncommon: Twine, Pruning Saw

Rare: Shears

2. Country Kitsch FarmVille Collection Items

Common: Needlepoint, Spigot, Pocketwatch

Uncommon: Salt Shaker, Thimble

Rare: Cow Bell

3. Bugs FarmVille Collection Items

Common: Ladybug, Dragonfly, Caterpillar

Uncommon: Stick Bug, Beetle

Rare: Centipede

4. Feather FarmVille Collection Items

Common: Green Plume, Hen Feather, Dapple Plume

Uncommon: Red Feather, Banded Quill

Rare: Blue Feather

A hint for locating the collectibles, by hovering the cursor over an item you will find hints to the location of each type of collectible. Gathering items is a routine task that can be performed as you carry out you daily chores, like plowing, on the farm. Some of the items that are most rare will be well hidden on the farm and others will only be accessible when you help on friends farm. Making many FarmVille friends can be a very important part of FarmVille.

Collectibles can also be given or received as gifts from friends, so its always a good idea to talk with friends about what items you are in need of.Many times a friend will be willing to part with the item you are seeking and this will boost the value of your collection even more. As with other accomplishments, when a collection is completed you can make a post to your wall. This wall post will allow your friends to acquire a random item from the collection that you have completed. If you post regular accomplishments and help your friends build there collections, they will respond the same to help you complete your collections.These posts can be very valuable, be sure to follow your friends wall posts so that you can pick up the random items that you need to complete your FarmVille farm collection.

When looking for collection items, duplicates will naturally occur and this is fine. You may have up to 10 of the same items and the individual collections can be completed more than one time.So hanging on to the duplicates can have its advantages. Just concentrate on finding the remaining item to complete more collections. Bonus Options The whole point of building these collections is obviously to gain something from them in the end.

The best reward from collecting these items and completing these collections is that you will gain either 250 experience points, 5,000 coins or 5 tanks of fuel.
