We Don't Always Understand What God Has In Store For Us

We don’t always want or understand what

 GOD Has In Store for US

 

Often what God has planned for us is not what we want our have on our agenda. For God is so GREAT with his sovereign love, mercy, grace, kindness, warmth and so on. Our little minds can not comprehend or ever figure out God and never will be even through out eternity. I also mean you BIG brain scientists, who seldom believe in the Almighty.

 

We are born into this life without any kind of warning to what lies ahead of us. Mankind figure out all sought of things, e.g. how to build airplanes, ships, cars, and a lot more. Can anyone of those scientists tell you what would be tomorrow (exactly what would happen)? NO. Only God alone knows what the past, future and the present holds. “Yesterday is history”, “Tomorrow is a mystery” and that’s why no one knows about it.

 

We all came here for a purpose; we are not always willing to admit it. Before the foundation of the world our heavenly FATHER. Knew everything that would happen to us.

 

Sometimes when life seems unfair to us, trials and tribulations plaguing us from day to day, month to month, and year to year. From time to time we look up to the heavens and ask ourselves where is this God that we serve? Does he hear us? Why doesn’t he help us?

 

I would say to you being a living testimony He is right there hearing our every prayer and he knows our every burden. I’d tell you what happens that make us think that he’s not there.

 

When we pray for something that we want for “like right now”.

 

¬He puts us on the waiting list, for us to learn PATIENCE.

 

When we get into fights/quarrels and we are right we may get wrong that’s for us

 

¬To gain TEMPERANCE so that we could become humble.

 

When we have and we do not share, God let’s us reach into a situation that we are without to see how it feels, when we are selfish.

 

¬It helps us to learn BROTHERLY KINDNESS.

 

When we are in some difficulty and we cry out to him, only out of fear. He seldom answers because.

 

¬He want’s us to apply our FAITH

 

Some of us who are poor and wonder when would this misery come to and end. Remember God knows everything, and you are poor for a reason. You may not be able to handle money/riches; it would make you proud and be ungrateful to God. When you don’t have, you have to look up to Him.

 

A man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth

(Luke 12:15)

1. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2.  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. (Psalms 121 : 1- 2)

 

Too often we want to be the boss over God instead of him having dominion over us. What I mean is as we pray we want an answer right away. Whenever we get into our own troubles we blame Him when we can’t come out. Some of us go from day to day without giving him the praise he is worthy of, then when bad pops up, you go on weaning and wailing for God to come and help you.

 

God needs our praises not only for us to want favours from him. E.g. you see a car you so badly one and tell yourself I am going to pray to get that. You may never get it because it was never meant for you. Even if you happen to get something that wasn’t for you, you would pay dearly.

 

What is for you there is no one that can take it from you, no matter how dim things seem hold unto God’s unchanging word.

 

So many times we tread right into our own problems, and he is there all the way calling us back, we prefer listen to that other voice that wants to destroy us (Satan).

 

When you have an appointment and for some reason you ended up late. Don’t sigh over it. Think about it this way, you might have been saved from some serious vehicular accident, being raped, kidnapped etc. You don’t know, but there’s and all Seeing eye watching you (GOD).

 

God could do anything he wants, but think about if all of us had everything we wanted, would we have time to pray or worship him? No, because what would we have to pray for when we have it all? That’s why many of us have some kind of sickness, and may even die with it that was given to you for some reason, so just accept it. I know it can be hard at times to believe and accept.

 

Some of us have been through hell and back, I have been and today I could now say thanks to my LORD for safely bringing me through. So may times we see people walk around not knowing what’s going on inside. At times we may judge, I’d tell you this, a smile is not always a smile, and a cry is not always a cry.

 

I have read about many rich people committing suicide and some who are alive with all the riches of the world isn’t happy. This is to show that money is not happiness, LOVE is, and that’s what we all need from the lowest to the highest. Above all the only love that can satisfy us is from our great creator (JESUS CHRIST).

 

There are a lot of poor people who are very contended by the way they live, more appreciative, and loving. That often puts us to shame when we come in contact with them. They have nothing and they are peaceful, we have and seem to be ungrateful.

 

Trials are blessings in a disguise; you may say what she is talking about. Remember I am talking from experience. When trial shows up at our door we open quickly and slam the door in its face. Not knowing that wherever we run or hide it will find us.

 

The best thing to do is to face it, and just how are you going to do that is by the help of God. There is no other friend like Jesus, your parents, family, friends would forsake you, but God never will. Any thing that happens to us happens for a reason. “When trials come and oh your heart is so heavy” He would raise you up onto the mountains and out of the stormy sea.  

 

In life we have to be strong and most times we are weak and frail, that’s why God send those trials our way, it helps to put us into shape, to realise where we are standing. He want’s us to be STRONG, BOLD AND COURAGEOUS.

 

Fear not, just ask him for the grace and strength to go through. “Through it all I have learn to trust in Jesus I have learn to trust in God”.

 

Note: There is not one man or woman on this earth that can tell you exactly when you are going to die. They would be able to come as close as possible. Never close enough.

 

Trials are for us to overcome and not for it to overcome us.

 

When we overcome we would be able to help others who go through the same or something similar. It’s a test that we cannot study for; it’s very unpredictable of when and how it will come. All we have to do is get in line, for it is what I call preparation for going to heaven. You are the clay and God is the porter just let him mold you into what he wants. You know not when your time is come, so be always ready. Don’t take God’s call for granted.

 

E.g. of Trials

 

1. If you lose a baby or a child. It would be very sad as a parent on the other side it might have worked out for your good. For the Lord gaveth and he taketh. Thank him, who knows if you had the baby it might have taken your life, then the child is left to suffer without a mother at birth.

 

1. Your husband die, it was for a reason probably to get you alert and for you to be more dependant on God.

 

1. You can’t have children, then  it wasn’t predestined by God

 

1. You are born a starving child in Somalia, from that trial you would be much more appreciative, and loving than most that have.

 

1. Your house burns down and you lose everything. That is sad!!! , but the most important is that you are alive isn’t it? Yeah it is

 

1. You lose that super job you had. Wake up and stop moaning, that wasn’t for you, go get another job.

 

There are so many that I would run out of time to type.

 

 

 

Some of us didn’t grow up with parents as myself, well partially I did. It’s no use going around hating your parents. Sometimes it is for our betterment as we cannot forecast we may think differently. As I constantly say “When I think that I am in a bad situation there is always someone worst than me”.

 

I have learnt to ask myself a few questions, which is as follows:

 

Ø      Have I ever been naked (not having clothes to where)? No

 

Ø      Have I ever gone thirsty for days, weeks, months? Never even for a day

 

Ø      Do I know what is to be hungry without food for days? Yes, at least for a day or two I know, but not like forever.

 

Ø      Do I know what is to live with AIDS/HIV and other sicknesses? No I don’t

 

Ø      Do I know how a woman feels after doing Chemotherapy? No

 

Ø      Do I know what it is like to be sold by my family in return for something to eat? No

 

Ø      Do I know what it is like not to see, hear, walk, write or talk? No

 

Ø      Have I ever experience a war? Never have

 

Ø      Do I know what it is like to live in Iran or Iraq where there are suicide bombers? No

 

Ø      Have I ever been molested (sexually)? No

 

Ø      Do I know what it feels like to walk for miles upon miles? No

 

Ø      Do I know what it is like to eat worms, snakes, rats, humans? No

 

Ø      Have I been so under privilege that I never saw the ocean or seen rain fall in years? No

 

Ø      Have I ever experience a horrible earthquake, avalanche, tsunami, tornado, etc? Never have I

 

Ø      Do I know what it is like to live where it’s freezing below zero degrees? No

 

Ø      Do I know how life treats special people (Down syndrome)? No

 

Ø      Have I ever been in a refugee camp fighting for survival? No

 

Ø      Do I know how someone feels to lose a leg or hand? No

 

We need to ask these questions and after so doing we know that all we have to do is SHUT UP and stop complaining.

 

Then I realise what I went through was small things to things that others go through. Yes it hurts big or small, but I have reached to a stage where those things don’t bother me anymore. I would admit that life has dealt with me roughly, but who cares I am out of that hell and I am not going back.

 

We have to be mindful that certain things cause people to be the way they are. It’s hard, try your best to forgive and forget. That’s what I try to do, and I am moving on, nothing is going to keep me back by God’s grace.

 

Don’t envy people for what they have, sometimes we don’t know what they have done to get where they are (good or bad). Never try to be like anyone, be yourself.

 

Be always thankful for what you have, and stop murmuring like the Israelites in the wilderness. God don’t like it when we do that. In all things gave him thanks through good and bad.

 

When life deals you a lemon, just suck it, it wouldn’t last forever. In this life we hardly have any control over how things come our way. All we could try to do is to put on an armour and shield ourselves with prayers and faith. Prayer for one another

 

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

(Proverbs 30: 5)

 

I trust that something was said to help you understand what is for us will be for us, and God deals with each person individually. “Different strokes for different folks”. One sure thing is that he LOVES us and is always ready to help and forgive us of all our trespasses. He would never give you more than you can bear.
