Service With Better Delivery Signs
Delivery signs could be placed outside an establishment that provides such a service. Another option is placing a special delivery sign on top of a car. Delivery signs help promote and advertise that a business will deliver certain items sometimes for free and other times for a fee. It depends on what the service is and often there are delivery area restrictions.
These signs found outside can be seen in windows and around the entrance. Establishments that use delivery signs provide these services such as for a furniture store and certain restaurants. Part of their business can be providing this service. They want to advertise it to help people know they delivery items. Posters reading, "Free delivery" or "Delivery available" are some examples. Advertising this service can also be done in the window using special paint or window clings. The window paint comes in a variety of colors and applies easily to the window. An employee just carefully writes the delivery sign message in the window.
Often it is best to be written in an easy to read color such as black and add some color as accent to outline the message, including yellow. It would also be appealing to write the message in another color, but have it outlined in black. This will help it be easy to read. When the business owners decide they want to remove the sign the paint can be washed off with soap and water. Even easier is placing a window cling in place. People drive by and see the delivery window sign.
Another delivery sign that can be found outside is an A-frame sign. These are made of outside resistant material, such as plastic and metals. The sign is big enough to be seen as motorists travel by and often is double sided to give people coming and going a chance to see the message. These delivery signs are colorful, eye catching and often will display a graphic or photo. It will display the graphic that works for the business such as a piece of furniture or food item. It is also usual to see a delivery truck on the sign as well as the business name and phone number.
A car top deliver sign resembles the sign atop a taxi.. These are often found to be put on delivery vehicle for pizza places, for example. They light up and have the name of the pizza delivery spot. The number is also included. It has a dual purpose. These delivery signs identify the location for the individuals that have made an order. It also puts the logo on the minds of those that didn't order any pizza. They see the logo and the phone number, which might entice them to make an order sometime soon. Another benefit for pizza shops, for example, is people might not even know they deliver in the area, but when they see the delivery sign they might start ordering. That means new customers.
Delivery signs that are placed on top of vehicles come in small, medium and large. They are known as mobile billboards. Such signs use high power magnets on the bottom of the sign to be placed on the smooth top of the car.

Special Delivery - $24.99 The second and last of Eddie Cantor's silent vehicles, Special Delivery casts the wide-eyed comedian as a hapless mailman. While going through his swiftly appointed rounds, Eddie stumbles upon a gang of crooks who are planning a large-scale confidence scam. He exposes the villains and wins the love of heroine Madge (Jobyna Ralston). Though Cantor was a fine physical comic, he didn't truly score in films until the arrival of talkies allowed his fans to hear as well as see him. Special Delivery was directed by "William Goodrich," who in reality was comedian Fatty Arbuckle, hoping to stage a comeback after the sex scandal that destroyed his career. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi |

Special Delivery! $3.95 Keisha and her family are just sitting down to Saturday-morning breakfast when the phone rings. "Uh-oh " There seems to be a skunk at the community garden, and it's dug a hole under the shed. At the same time, Mr. Sanders can't deliver the mail to a certain house: crows keep dive-bombing him when he gets near the mailbox. Time for the Animal Rescue Team to spring into action This time they've got "two" mysteries to solve: What could crows have against mail delivery? And what really dug that hole at the community garden--as Mama knows, it's too big to have been dug by a skunk. Once again, it'll take the whole team, along with help from some new friends, to sort out what, and who, is creating all this mayhem around town. Sue Stauffacher turns to her first series effort with Animal Rescue Team. With compelling plots based on actual events in her community, Sue has created a lovable cast of characters of boys and girls, kids and adults, who feel like people you'd meet at your neighborhood block party. Written in an accessible and engaging style meant to appeal to independent readers looking to be excited and entertained, and with subplots about friendship, siblings, the environment, and animal conservation, along with plenty of humor, these will be a hit with teachers and librarians, and parents, as well as kids themselves.
