While browsing for designer bridal shoes, I came across a couple that I knew I had to feature for everyone -- not just those who'll be strolling down an aisle in the near future.

The first is the 'Lopez' from Benjamin Adams. These lovely sling back pumps feature kid leather linings, duchess silk uppers, leather soles, and Swarovski crystals. In addition to being gorgeous, these shoes are hand-crafted by Paradox London.

The other pair of shoes I wanted to share with everyone is from Gina, a label which regular readers will recognize as a favorite of mine. Gina shoes are always something to behold, but these open-toed pumps are among the most gorgeous shoes I've ever seen -- from Gina, or otherwise.

The champagne silk uppers are adorned with a scattered "exclusive to Gina" arrangement of Swarovski crystals in the amazing 'alabaster' shade, which hint at mint and baby blue, depending on the angle and lighting.

My favorite thing about these shoes is that, in addition to being ideal wedding shoes, they'd work for extra-special occasions after the wedding too.

I have fewer blue shoes in my closet than I do just about any other color I can think of. I'm really not sure why this is the case. Granted, blue is far from my favorite color, but still, it's extremely versatile, and when I see this year's selection of gorgeous navy blue boots and stunning royal blue booties, I just can't imagine what I was thinking all of those years that I didn't spend been grabbing them up.

Fortunately for me, I can make up for lost time this season, as blue shoes are out in abundance, although they're still not nearly as ubiquitous as all the neutral shades we'll be seeing again this year.
