Today, however, luncheons can be celebrated as dinner at a restaurant, café, home, spa or other places where it is comfortable to throw a luncheon.

The Cake

The bridesmaids' cake is usually associated with the luncheon. The details of the cake may vary, depending on your preferences, but is often pink and includes a coin, thimble or ring that is baked in. each bridesmaid will be given a slice of cake, and whoever has the trinket in her cake is thought to be the next lady to get married.
